This presentation will feature a combination of four short lightning talks introducing news from the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin and our platform CrossAsia (crossasia.org):
A new thematic portal uses the IIIF standard in order to present large-format works such as the Japanese handscrolls in a way which is more befitting with their original material character.

The so called “Bandō collection”, a collection of materials related to the POW camp Bandō (1917-1920), of the German Institute for Japanese Studies (Tokyo) is now a deposit in our library and under way for a complete new cataloguing and digitization.

As part of our mission as a Specialised Information Service (Fachinformationsdienst (FID)) and in connection with a research project of the University of Cologne the collection of pre-modern Japanese titles has been extended with a focus on setsuyōshū (popular type of dictionary of the Muromachi period).

Recommended by the German Research Foundation the new CrossAsia Open Access Repository is a specialised repository for Asian Studies. Its goal is to provide open, free-of-charge and long-term access to quality scholarly materials from all fields of social sciences, cultural studies and humanities related to Asia.

本発表では、ベルリン国立図書館及び当館が提供しているポータルサイト、CrossAsia（crossasia.org）についてのニュースを4点、短くまとめて紹介します。
日本の巻子本のようなの大判の作品を、その本来の物質性にふさわしい形で紹介するIIIF規格に合わせた新しいテーマ別ポータルサイトが完成しました。

ドイツ日本研究所（東京）が所有している坂東俘虜収容所（1917年-1920年）関連資料、いわゆる「坂東コレクション」は、現在、当館に寄託され、目録作成及びデジタル化が進められているところです。
